Player’s wanted for First, Reserves and Colts for season 2009 - South Perth has made the senior grade’s finals for the last 7 years with premierships in 2002, 04, 05 and 08 in first grade and 2006 and 08 in reserve grade. Retirements and players recruited into the Perth Reds team have created opportunities to join a strong progressive club with a proven track record of developing state level players.

Andrew Korn has been re-appointed first grade coach for 2009. Andrew has coached first grade premierships in 2000 and 01 in Bega (NSW) and 02, 04, 05 & 08 at South Perth and Nathan Johnson has rejoined  the Lions as reserve grade captain coach after success with North Beach.

With the WA Reds playing in the 2009 Bundaberg Cup Competition there are opportunities for players to prove themselves in the West, in a strong local competition, with quality state representative opportunities and interstate tours.

South Perth is a centrally located club just 10 minutes from the city and the entertainment district and all major sporting venues, etc.
