Having guided the Souths Logan Magpies to a breakthrough Queensland Cup premiership, rising coach Paul Bramley now has the opportunity to make his mark on the representative stage. Bramley replaces Mark Gee as coach of the XXXX Queensland Residents team which is desperate for revenge after a narrow loss to NSW in June this year.
Bramley, whose Souths Logan side defeated the Ipswich Jets 24-18 in an epic 2008 grand final, will be supported by Mark Zillman.
Another rising coach, the Northern Pride’s Andrew Dunemann, will make his entry on the representative stage next year when he takes control of the XXXX Country team.
Wynnum Manly’s Shane McNally will again coach the XXXX City outfit.
Former Ipswich Jets FOGS Cup coach Paul Lowe is the new man in charge of the XXXX Queensland Rangers.
Lowe, who has also accepted a position as Darren Smith’s assistant at the Easts Tigers, will prepare the Rangers for a Quad series in Sydney in July.
