Rugby League Coaching Manuals

The Burdekin Rugby League, situated in Cowboy country 100km south of Townsville, is looking for an inside back for the 2009 season. The club plays in the Townsville Rugby League and were A Grade premiers in 2000, 2001(undefeated), 2003 and 2005 under Noel Goldthorpe.  We were runners up in 2006 and preliminary finalists in 2002, 2004 and 2008.

The club has three grades, A, Reserve and Under 19.. reservve grade premiers in 2007 and under 19 in 2001 with runner up in 2007. The district is the centre of a huge sugar growing area and produces fruit and vegetables for the southern markets.

The Club owns its own grounds and trains there along with the juniors who range from under 7 to under 17.

There is plenty of work for the right person with the Club having a number of sponsors. Accomodation and assistance with travel would also be negotiated.

We pay good match payments as well. The Club has in its ranks two Queensland Rangers players, four North Queensland representatives, an ex-Cowboy Young Gun along with four former Cowboy Scholarship players and two current Cowboy Under 20 players.
