The Rockingham Coastal Sharks Rugby league Club in Western Australia is on the lookout for Players. The club has first class facilities at Lark Hill Sportsplex with a licensed club and fully maintained gym and training facilities. We are located on some of Perth’s best beaches with some 28kms of pristine coastline 35 minutes south of Perth. It is an absolutely fantastic life style in the West.
The club is looking for all players but specifically a half/five eight, centre, fullback or front rower.
Although Western Australia is an outpost the club for the right player does pay match bonuses, provides insurance, playing gear, will organise jobs when the player arrives, and can place players in accommodation while they get settled. We are a club that has a strong reputation in doing the right thing by our players.
Our first grade coaches both have English First division experience at Keighley, York City Knights, Leigh and Chorley. Jason Ramshaw was the assistant coach and clubs development officer at York City in 2007 and a professional player at Keighley for some 10 years. Dale Christy has played first grade at the Sharks for some 8 years and was previously at Chorley Lynx and Leigh as an Academy player. All coaches are ARL Level 2-3 qualified. Dale Christy is also the ARL development officer for WA.
The 2008 WARL first grade and reserve grade Grand finalist and Senior Club Champions are aiming to go one better in 2009. Be part of a winning club with a great social atmosphere.
Pre-season Games start in late March.
