Federal Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, the Hon Anthony Albanese MP, today joined NSW Minister for Sport and Recreation, the Hon Graham Annesley MP, Australian Rugby League Commission Chairman, Mr John Grant, and ARLC Chief Executive, Mr David Gallop, to officially open a new home for the game - Rugby League Central.

Christian Luyks returns to Bathurst Panthers Print E-mail

By Sam Debenham - In what shapes as a huge pre-season for Bathurst Panthers, the club has been given a massive boost with former Group 10 centre Christian Luyks announcing that he will be returning to the premier league side this season. Luyks was a part of Panthers' back-to-back premiership-winning teams in 2005-06 and last pulled on the boots in 2010, though his final few seasons were interrupted by more than his fair share of injuries.

Mark Aston hopes for a return to Bramall Lane Print E-mail

By Liam Claffey - Sheffield Eagles head coach Mark Aston is hoping the club will play just as many games at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane this year as they did in 2011. Last year all but two of their home league fixtures where played at the venue. At the moment, just three of the Eagles home fixtures will be played at stadium however Aston hopes this will be increased soon.
