Castleford Tigers boss Terry Matterson has issued his 2009 squad numbers, although the message from Terry is as before: "Don't read too much into them, everyone in the squad will earn a place in the matchday seventeen on merit, regardless of their squad number."

The squad includes the clubs 10 new signings (previous club) and seven of the talented youngsters who have been promoted to the senior ranks. Sione Faumuina has received his clearance in Australia and will be flying over to the UK next week, arriving on Tuesday.
