Harlequins Rugby League announce the resignation of Keith Hogg as Chairman. He will be replaced as Chairman by long term shareholder, investor and supporter of rugby league in London, David Hughes.
Keith Hogg said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as Chairman of Harlequins Rugby League and in an ideal world I would love to continue. However, I live in Scotland and it really isn't fair on my family for me to spend as much time in London and travelling to games as I have done over the last year. I also need to progress my commercial interests and these are now largely in Scotland. I will, of course, continue to support Harlequins Rugby League and will help the club as best I can and will be at a number of games – both home and away.”
David Hughes said: "I would like to thank Keith for all his hard work on behalf of the club. He must be the most travelled person in UK rugby league in recent times. We hope that Keith will stay involved with the club in whatever way he can."
