Celtic Crusaders' coach John Dixon has been named National League One Coach of the Year by the readers of Rugby Leaguer and League Express newspaper.  Dixon attracted 40% of votes from readers all around the world via website www.totalrl.com.

This award, which compliments the Coach of the Year crown he was given by experts and coaches via Rugby League World magazine, comes after leading the Welsh club to within 30 seconds of winning the NL1 title in only their third season.

He has been coach of the Crusaders since the club's formation three years ago and his record has been first class throughout. He led the side to a play-off semi-final in their first season and a National League Two title in the second.
