He's one of the most respected commentators in the game and now the man known as the “Wok” is ready to stir the pot at next month’s QRL Admin Conference on the Gold Coast. Warren Ryan, whose insightful and cutting-edge comments anchor the ABC’s league coverage, will share his views on the game at the 2009 Conference.
The former Canterbury, Balmain, Newtown, Western Suburbs and Newcastle top-grade coach joins Mal Meninga, Michael Searle and Bruno Cullen at the popular Conference held at the Radisson Resort on February 14-15.
The colourful league identities will interact with the audience at a special dinner (‘The Fun In The Game – A Lifetime Of Memories’) on the Saturday.
Stories and tales from past and present eras will no doubt fill the room with laughter in an evening not to be missed.
Hving played and coached at the highest level, Ryan’s input alone will be worth its weight in gold.
He coached the Canterbury Bulldogs to three Grand Final appearances in four seasons between 1984 and 1987.
He is regarded as one of the great coaches of his era but it is his work on the ABC’s Grandstand program that has elevated him to even greater heights in the eyes of many.
Pople who register for the Admin Conference will have a seat reserved for the dinner and a once in a lifetime chance to hear from Ryan, Origin coach Meninga and current NRL executives Searle (Titans) and Cullen (Broncos).
The QRL Southern Admin Conference offers great value for money, with all your accommodation, meals and Conference sessions part of the package.
