Luke Turgeon, GC Bulletin - Titans under-20s will have a strong Palm Beach Currumbin flavour this season with members from the high school's Arrive Alive Cup-winning side making up a third of the squad. PBC rugby league skipper Kurt Foggo and boy wonder Jordan Rankin will return for their second year in the Toyota Cup.

They will be joined by 2008 PBC teammates Ryan James, Tim James, Chris Bloomfield, Steve Gillett, Sam Saville, Cody Walker, Matt Hundy and Leon Taylor in the extended 30-man squad.

Long-time PBC coach Rod Patison has also been hired by the Titans in the role of a developmental coaching consultant.

PBC stormed to victory in the tough schoolboy competition last September, defeating Sydney's Matraville Sports High 24-22 in the national final.

As well as the PBC contingent, the new look Titans under-20s will have five players from the Tweed Heads Seagulls colts and three from the Burleigh Bears colts.

Winger Kevin Gordon, prop Siosaia Vave, backrower Ben Ridge and hooker Kayne Lawton will form the backbone of the under-20 side this season.

Shannon Walker, Will Matthews, Esi Tonga and David Mead have graduated to the Titans first grade squad while the bulk of the 2008 outfit will play Queensland Cup with Tweed heads.

The under-20s will play three trials, against the Broncos at Wynnum (February 14), Central Comets in Rockhampton (February 21) and the Warriors in Lismore (February 28).
