Schoolboy Rugby League continues today with hundreds of kids from schools all over Sydney converge on St Mary’s Western Weekender Stadium for the Schoolboy 9s tournament.

The annual event will see almost 400 junior players from 30 schools competing again today in competition, the category a today is “general schools” day.

The Schoolboy 9s precedes a full-scale kick off of junior representative Rugby League this weekend, with both the NSWRL Harold Matthews Cup (Under-16) and SG Ball Cup (Under-18) competitions due to get underway at various locations.
