Sporting Life, Hull  v Wigan - Hull will hand debuts to two of their new signings in winger Mark Calderwood - against his former club - and scrum-half Chris Thorman, who will be paired with the fit-again Richard Horne. Gareth Raynor, Richard Whiting and Motu Tony are all sidelined through injury.

Wigan are likely to switch Amos Roberts or Pat Richards from one of the wings to full-back to compensate for the loss of the suspended Richard Mathers, with Cameron Phelps switching to the wing and Darrell Goulding coming in at centre. Hooker Michael McIlorum is added to the squad that lost to Wakefield.

Australian hooker Danny Buderus will make his Leeds debut after recovering from a torn bicep while prop Ryan Bailey returns after missing the champions' opening win over Celtic Crusaders with a knee injury. But centre Keith Senior is ruled out and Brent Webb and Rob Burrow are still sidelined through injury.

Wakefield, who began the season with a shock 12-6 win at Wigan, have added centre Ryan Atkins to their squad but are still without eight full-timers through injury and illness and second rower Steve Snitch is facing a late fitness test after hurting an ankle at the JJB Stadium.

Saints give debuts to new signing Tony Puletua and 19-year-old winger Tom Armstrong, who is set to deputise for the absent Francis Meli. Lee Gilmour, who is set for a switch to centre, and Jason Cayless have both been named in coach Mick Potter's initial squad after recovering from injury and there are also places for two other youngsters, Jamie Foster and Matty Ashurst.

England centre Martin Gleeson misses out on a return to his former club but another ex-St Helens player, Mickey Higham, and former Hull prop Garreth Carvell will make their Warrington debuts. There are returns for long-term injury victims Louis and Vinnie Anderson, Chris Bridge and Paul Johnson but Jon Clarke, Stuart Reardon and Simon Grix are still on the sidelines.
