St Brendans have moved to the top of the ladder in Southside 2, on 25 points, after beating Slacks Creek 44-12. Inala defeated Centenary 16-10 for both teams to now share 24 points, while Mt Gravatt beat Sunnybank 26-12 to move to 18 points, with Sunnybank on 15. In the other match, Wynnum beat Rochedale 60-10 to leave Wynnum and Slacks Creek both on 14 and Rochedale on 4 points.
Brothers Juniors retain the competition lead in Northside 3, on 30 points, after beating Arana Hills 50-12. Ferny Grove beat Bayside Warriors 70-6 to move into second place on 24 points. Deception Bay Bombers beat Pine Central Holy Sprit 38 26 to leave Pine Central on 23 points and Deception Bay on 22 points with Arana Hills. Northern Raiders are on 19 points after being beaten 44-18 by Aspley, St Josephs are on 18 points after beating Mitchelton 52-14 and Aspley is on 17 points. Mitchelton shares 12 points with Burpengary, who had the bye and Bayside Warriors are on 5 points.
The Southside 3 match between St Brendans and Logan Wanderers was not played as this match had already been played as the Ted Beaumont Trophy match. Carina beat Souths 32-28 to move to the competition lead on 27 points, while Logan Wanderers now share 25 points with Mustangs Brothers, who beat Wynnum 34-14 and St Brendans are on 24 points.
