Easts Juniors continue in the competition lead in Premier Grade, on 34 points, after beating Redlands 34-6. Deception Bay beat Aspley 36-16 to move to 23 points, while Carina beat Banyo 34-4 for Banyo to stay on 22 points and Carina now share 21 points with Valleys Juniors, who had the bye. Aspley is on 12 points, while Wynnum Juniors beat Arana Hills 28-10 for Arana to stay on 11 points, Redlands on 10 points and Wynnum Juniors move to 8 points.
In Northside 2, Dayboro finished the season as minor premiers, on 31 points, after beating Normanby 18-16. Pine Rivers beat Aspley 56-0 to finish in second place on 28 points. Mitchelton was beaten 32-16 by Nundah Devils, but finished in third place on 25 points, with Nundah finishing in fourth place on 23 points. Valleys also finished on 23 points after beating Bayside Warriors 34-30, but missed out on the semis on points for and against. Bayside Warriors finished on 20 points with Normanby on 19 points. Brisbane Pythons beat Samford 52-14 and Sandgate Brighton beat Northside Natives 26-24 for Pythons to finish on 13, Aspley on 12, Natives on 9, Sandgate Brighton on 8 and Samford on 5. In next week's semi finals at Pine Central Holy Spirit, Mitchelton will play Nundah Devils in the elimination semi final at 1.15 PM and Dayboro will play Pine Rivers in the major semi final at 3.00 PM.
In Southside 2, St Brendans beat Rochedale 38-14 to stay in the competition lead on 27 points. Inala moves to 25 points after drawing 16-all with Mt Gravatt, while Wests Centenary stays on 24 points after being beaten 16-14 by Wynnum Juniors. Mt Gravatt moves to 19 points. In the other match, Slacks Creek beat Sunnybank 28 18 to share 16 points with Wynnum, with Sunnybank on 15 and Rochedale on 4 points.

Bulimba Valleys continue undefeated in Southside 4 on 35 competition points, after beating Sunnybank 70-4. Carina beat Mustangs 38-16 to be on 26 points, while Centenary beat Beenleigh 26-14 to be on 25 points. Logan Brothers, Beenleigh Juniors and Inala are all on 18 points, after Inala beat Logan Brothers 28-18. Logan Wanderers beat Slacks Creek 64-12 to go to 17 points and Logan Chiefs beat Waterford 28-20 to be on 15 points. Slacks Creek is on 14 points, Waterford on 13, Sunnybank on 12 and Mustangs Brothers are on 1 point.
Logan Brothers received a forfeit from Norths St Josephs in the Under 22 Albert Bishop Shield to remain in the competition lead on 31 points. Valleys Juniors received a forfeit from Browns Plains to go to 18 points, with Graceville on 14, St Josephs on 12, Arana Hills on 9, after having the bye, and Browns Plains are on 2 points.
In the Under 20 Arthur Sparks Shield, Mustangs were beaten 42-6 by St Josephs but remain in the competition lead on 23 points. Sunnybank and Aspley share 22 points after Sunnybank beat Aspley 46-26. Mt Gravatt and Carina share 21 points after Mt Gravatt beat Pine Central 30-18 and Carina beat Deception Bay 32-26. Pine Central remains on 20 points and St Josephs move to 19 points. Mitchelton received a forfeit from Banyo to go to 17 points, Deception Bay is on 15 points, Valleys had the bye to move to 8 points and Banyo remains on 4 points. |
