By Oliver Murray - Dual international Lote Tuqiri is set to make his Campbelltown Stadium debut for the Wests Tigers against the Sydney Roosters. The former Wallabies winger signed a three-year deal with the Tigers last week, returning to the NRL after a seven-year stint in rugby union.

The 30-year-old plays rugby for the Leicester Tigers in England and will return to Australia at the end of March.

The former Brisbane Broncos premiership winner will be available for the round four clash against Canberra Raiders. The Macarthur rugby league community will get their first chance to see Tuqiri in action when the Tigers play the Roosters at Campbelltown Stadium in round eight.

Tuqiri considered staying in the UK with Leicester, but a visit from Tigers chief executive Stephen Humphreys convinced him to return to Australia and rugby league.

"There is no question (the NRL) is one of the toughest sporting competitions in the world and I am confident Wests Tigers will enjoy great success in the coming years," Tuqiri said. Tuqiri joins the Tigers backline that already includes Benji Marshall, Taniela Tuiaki and Chris Lawrence. Tigers coach Tim Sheens said Tuqiri would bring an "X-factor" to the 2005 premiers. The Tigers are aiming to break a four-year finals drought in 2010.
