After a false start last week when all matches were cancelled due to the wet weather, all competitions began on 13 March, with only one cancellation. The early winners in Premier Grade were Deception Bay Bombers, who beat Redlands 32-18, Aspley, who beat Wynnum Juniors 20-14, Valleys, who beat Waterford 26-20, and Carina, who beat Easts Juniors 16-14. Mitchelton had the bye.
In Northside 2, Northside Natives beat Deception Bay 44-12, Dayboro beat Arana Hills 54-22, Normanby beat Aspley 26-6, Banyo beat Brisbane Pythons 32-18 and Pine Rivers beat Nundah Devils 18-16. Brothers Juniors had the bye.
In Northside 3, Gaters beat Norths St Josephs 48-0, P C Holy Spirit beat Brothers Juniors 48-6 and Samford beat Arana Hills 20-12. The match between Bayside Warriors and Valleys was washed out due to a council closure of the field and Ferny Grove had the bye. In Northside 4, Valleys beat Deception Bay Bombers 62-6, Mitchelton beat Northern Raiders 40-20, Albany Creek Crushers beat Arana Hills 26-10, Burpengary beat Pine Rivers 22-10 and Aspley beat Norths St Josephs 28-26. In Southside 2, Sunnybank beat Souths Juniors 64-18, Slacks Creek beat Wynnum Manly Juniors 44-10, Mt Gravatt beat Carina 26-10, Centenary beat Redlands 22-10 and Logan Brothers beat Souths 20-18.
