Ryan Atkins backs his sponsor ahead of Sport Relief weekend. Wolves star Ryan Atkins showed his support for the Sport Relief campaign earlier this month as part of the RFL's drive to encourage fans from across the sport to take part in the Sport Relief mile. This week Ryan and Wolfie took this one step further and visited his sponsor Spire Cheshire Hospital to show his support for the 60 plus members of staff, consultants, friends and family set to embark on the Sport Relief mile.
Andy Eadsforth, Hospital Director, will be taking part and he is looking forward to raising money for this worthy cause. "We are rising to the challenge for Sport Relief, the money we raise will help people living incredibly tough lives both at home in the UK and across the world's poorest countries. Thank you to staff and consultants at Spire Cheshire Hospital for all your support."
Dave Hutchinson, Wolves' Sales and Marketing Controller, said: "Warrington Wolves are delighted to help out Spire Cheshire Hospital's staff in their efforts towards such a good cause. We are proud to have Spire as one of our sponsors and wish everyone taking part the best of luck."
Sport Relief takes place this weekend 19-21 March and as part of the fundraising efforts 16 flagship Mile events are taking place around the country including ones in Hull, Leeds, Manchester and London. Thousands of people are expected to take part in the events which are around city centres and entrants can opt to run 1, 3 or 6 miles to raise funds for the charity. |
