By Nigel Brown - Leeds Rhinos winger Ryan Hall believes the Super League clash with Hull on Saturday will test their mettle after their Challenge Cup final loss last weekend. The Rhinos crashed to a 30-6 defeat to Warrington Wolves at Wembley and, with a top-four finish on the line for the Headingley-based outfit, Hall wants to see his team come through the other side and grab a confidence-boosting victory at the KC Stadium.
"It is going to take a bit of time to get our heads round it," he said.
"Nobody in our team expected to feel like we did after the final. Everyone's down, but that's why we have got the club culture and people around us, to help everyone get back on the right track.
"I am sure we'll be able to get back up. As professionals, that's what we are paid to do and we will do, by Saturday. Over the past couple of years, the character of this team has shone through.
"We have got some strong personalities in this team and that's one of our traits. I am sure they will rise again and guide this team to where it needs to be.
"We have still got the potential to grow and improve. I am sure we will grow and we will come out of this better for it." |
